Flexible power-supply

RMCam can be mains or solar-powered.The solar power option allows for portability, and means there is no need to installcostly power infrastructure.

Wireless networking

Operated over the NextG/Next-IP networks, and will operate wherever NextG coverage is available.

Portability

The unit and allperipherals may be moved from one site to another as the need arises. All that is needed is a pole or other existing structure to mount the unit onto. Can be used to monitor unattended mobile assets by connecting the unit to these assets(such as road-building machinery). The unit can also be mounted as a trailor based unit for easy portability. May also be installed in a permanent location.

Server-side control

RMCam's operating system and user interface is server-side. A computer or a mobile phone with a standard web browser is all that is needed to access images, control the unit and change the units settings. As a result the user can operate the RMCam unit from a computer or mobile phone from anywhere in the world.

Wireless Internet Access Point

Broadband internet service. RMCam can be configured to provide wireless broadband internet coverage at and around the camera site.

Australian Made and Designed

RMCam is designed and manufactured in Australia. Ongoing Research and Development of the unit, peripherals, and of server-side applications will enhance the power and flexibility of RMCam
