The Coggan family in Queensland is preparing to launch their Guinness World Record attempt to plant the largest paddock of wheat in 24 hours, on June 11

The world record attempt is being used to raise funds for the Prince Charles Hospital Foundation, following John Coggan's life-saving heart transplant three years ago.

His son Phillip Coggan says there has been good planting rain and they hope to begin their world record attempt on Wednesday, June 11.
